BARATUNDE THURSTON • The New York Times bestselling author (How to Be Black), podcaster (How To Citizen With Baratunde), and commentator, 45, returns as host for a second season of America Outdoors With Baratunde Thurston (Sept. 6 on PBS). Thurston, who helped launch The Daily Show With Trevor Noah in 2015 and is a founding partner of a new media start-up called Puck, will take viewers off the beaten path to explore what drives our passion for Mother Nature as he highlights the outdoor cultures of Utah, Maine, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oregon and the Suwannee River in Georgia and Florida.
