June Wilkinson came to the United States as a big bust model originally from East Bourne, Sussex, England. Playboy boosted her image with a series of six layouts that showcased her 44-inch bustline. Eventually Wilkinson grew tired of the singular attention that focused on her pulchritude. She wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. In the early and mid 1960s June toured with actors in comedic plays like Pajama Tops and Any Wednesday. She also made films, many of them of the humorous genre, i.e. "Macumba Love" (1960) and "The Bellboy and the Playgirls" (1962).
